• Overview: This workshop providess participants with the basic information they need to provide legally and culturally competent services to transgender clients in a non­discriminatory environment. The first half of the workshop includes key information about working with transgender clients and co­workers including an overview of common terminology. The second half provides an overview of transgender legal issues and the applicable laws and regulations. The workshop is designed to be interactive with questions and conversation encouraged.
