BALIF was sad to learn of the passing of our San Francisco Public Defender and reform advocate, Jeff Adachi, who stood up for our most marginalized and always spoke truth to power.
BALIF along with community leaders and the San Francisco Office of the Public Defenders invite you to join us in honoring Jeff Adachi's legacy in the fights for civil liberties, racial justice, immigration rights.
Tomorrow evening, 7 pm at the SF Public Defender's office (555 7th Street), the San Francisco community will come to remember Adachi and commit to carry on his fight together.
We will gather at the Public Defender's office ( for a candle light vigil and short program. We will then march through the Tenderloin to City Hall.
Rest in Power Jeff. We will carry your legacy.
