Work Day at the National AIDS Memorial Grove

BALIF & Team Friendly Bay Area are helping to coordinate volunteers for a work day at the National AIDS Memorial Grove on Saturday, March 17th!

Workdays begin at 8:30am with registration and a breakfast of coffee, juices, bagels, and fruit. After an introduction to the National AIDS Memorial, our gardener explains the day’s various projects, and volunteers break into teams and work under the supervision of experienced volunteer team leaders. At noon, work ends, and volunteers gather for “Circle Time” for announcements, acknowledgement of sponsors, and a moment of silence in honor of lives lost to AIDS. 

Lunch is Provided. Gear is encouraged.
